FloridaCommerce has announced a significant investment at the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park in Winter Haven. A new 244,000-square-foot distribution facility operated by Chick-fil-A Supply will be established at the site, with more than $150 million in capital investment and the creation of over 180 full-time jobs. The project is supported through partnerships between the Winter Haven Economic Development Council, CSX, and the State of Florida.

The development is linked to Governor Ron DeSantis’ allocation of $1.5 million to Winter Haven from the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. This funding is part of an ongoing effort to attract large-scale industrial and intermodal projects to Florida.

“Under Governor DeSantis’ leadership, Florida continues to demonstrate why it’s the best state in the nation for advanced manufacturing and logistics,” said Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly. “Investments like this are clear evidence that our strategy is working—bringing in major companies that are creating sustainable jobs for Floridians and driving long-term economic growth for future generations.”

Josh Grote, Executive Director at Chick-fil-A Supply, commented on the company’s commitment: “Chick-fil-A Supply is committed to investing in local communities to create jobs and strengthen support for locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A restaurants. We’re grateful to Winter Haven and the State of Florida for the opportunity to become part of the community and look forward to serving Chick-fil-A restaurants across the state.”

Bruce Lyon, President of the Winter Haven Economic Development Council, added: “We are grateful to Chick-fil-A Supply for choosing Winter Haven as the home for this impressive new facility. Their investment highlights the strength of the Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center and its expanding role in Florida’s economy. This project will create more than 150 high-quality jobs and further strengthen Winter Haven’s position as a premier hub for logistics and food distribution across the state. We also extend our sincere thanks to Tratt Properties for their partnership and commitment to developing a world-class industrial park where businesses like Chick-fil-A Supply can thrive.”

Chick-fil-A Supply currently operates 11 distribution centers nationwide, including one in Weston, Florida. The upcoming facility will serve approximately 170 restaurants when it opens in 2027.
