As local elections for 2025 approach, Common Cause Florida is urging voters to use a nonpartisan hotline if they encounter any difficulties or have questions about voting. The organization co-leads what it describes as the largest nonpartisan voter protection and assistance program in the state.
The election protection hotline is available by call or text in several languages, including English (866-OUR-VOTE / 866-687-8683), Spanish (888-VE-Y-VOTA / 888-839-8682), Haitian-Creole (727-308-3009, option #2), Asian languages (888-API-VOTE / 888-274-8683), and Arabic (844-YALLA-US / 844-925-5287).
Voters can use the service to get help with returning vote-by-mail ballots, early voting schedules, polling locations on Election Day, or other issues related to casting their ballot. Trained volunteers staff the toll-free hotline to provide nonpartisan support.
Amy Keith, Executive Director of Common Cause Florida, said: “If you have any questions, concerns, or problems voting anywhere in Florida, call or text 866-OUR-VOTE to receive nonpartisan assistance. Local elections are just as important as any other election and your vote deserves to be heard, regardless of political party.”
