The Florida Chamber Foundation, in collaboration with Helios Education Foundation, has introduced the Florida Talent Center Data Hub. This tool is aimed at enhancing Florida’s workforce readiness and economic development.

Unveiled at the 2025 Florida Learners to Earners Workforce Solution Summit, the data hub consolidates education and workforce information into a centralized platform. It is intended for use by employers, educators, policymakers, and community organizers to gain real-time insights necessary for strengthening Florida’s talent pipeline from early childhood through employment.

Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Florida Chamber Foundation, emphasized the importance of aligning education with workforce outcomes to keep Florida competitive. “The Florida Talent Center Data Hub is a game-changer in making that alignment actionable, transparent, and measurable for Florida’s job creators, educators, and policymakers alike,” he stated.

The hub includes four interactive dashboards covering Early Learning, K-12, Postsecondary, and Workforce sectors. These dashboards provide numerous metrics at various levels including state, county, zip code, and school. The data highlights connections between learning and labor such as VPK program effectiveness on kindergarten readiness and postsecondary career salary outcomes.

Paul J. Luna, President & CEO of Helios Education Foundation noted that “the Florida Talent Center Data Hub is more than a data tool—it’s a catalyst for coordinated action.” He praised its role as a reliable resource that allows stakeholders to concentrate their efforts effectively.

Rachel Ludwig from the Florida Chamber Foundation described the hub as pivotal for workforce readiness by linking education with employment data to drive informed decisions. She added that it can contribute to long-term economic growth across the state.

The creation of this hub involved contributions from several advisory boards within the foundation including Future of Work Florida Advisory Board and Community Development Partnership Council.
