The Florida Chamber of Commerce will participate in National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day on October 15, joining chambers across the country to highlight the contributions of more than 200 local and regional chambers in Florida. The event aims to recognize the work these organizations do in supporting businesses, developing talent, and promoting economic growth in their communities.

Local chambers play a key role in Florida’s economic landscape by helping businesses, fostering workforce development, supporting infrastructure projects, and advocating for policies that enhance the state’s competitiveness. These efforts align with the goals of the Florida 2030 Blueprint, a statewide initiative focused on long-term economic growth.

Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, stated, “Local chambers are the heartbeat of Florida’s communities. They give businesses a voice, champion entrepreneurship, and bring the Florida 2030 Blueprint to life at the local level. We’re proud to work to ensure Florida remains the best place in the world to live, work, learn, and do business with Florida’s local chamber network. As I’ve said many times, show me a strong community and I’ll show you a strong chamber.”

On October 15, the Florida Chamber will highlight local chambers that demonstrate leadership in areas such as workforce development, economic diversification, and community prosperity. Businesses and community members are encouraged to participate by tagging their local chambers on social media, sharing stories of success, and using the hashtags #SupportYourLocalChamber, #FloridaChamber, and #FloridaBusiness.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of employers, chambers of commerce, and associations throughout the state. With a history spanning more than a century, the organization focuses on creating economic opportunities and job growth while working to secure Florida’s future.
