Smith highlighted the role that organizations like the Wedgworth Leadership Institute play in supporting community development and advancing agriculture in Florida. “The value that these leadership programs bring is vital to our future,” Smith said.

Both leaders discussed ongoing efforts to recruit participants from diverse backgrounds and to equip them with tools necessary for effective advocacy and decision-making in their local regions.
