Attorney General James Uthmeier has announced that Frankie Pineiro Jr. has been sentenced to 35 years in prison following his conviction on multiple child pornography charges. Pineiro was found guilty of buying and exchanging numerous digital files containing explicit images and videos of minors.

“Possessing and promoting child pornography is vile and has absolutely no place in our state,” stated Attorney General James Uthmeier. “Thanks to our law enforcement partners and our Statewide Prosecutors, this disgusting predator will serve decades behind bars.”

The case began in September 2024 when Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents executed a search warrant at Pineiro’s home as part of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. During the search, Pineiro admitted to purchasing links for downloading child pornography onto a mobile device. Initially, he faced ten counts of possession of child pornography.

Further examination of Pineiro’s cellphone uncovered more evidence related to accessing and distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The Office of Statewide Prosecution led by Attorney General Uthmeier charged him with an additional 15 counts of possession, five counts of promotion, and three counts related to failing to register an online identifier.

Pineiro pled guilty to all charges and received a 35-year prison sentence. The case was managed by Attorney General Uthmeier’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
