Florida’s third-grade reading scores rise to 57

The Florida Chamber of Commerce and Foundation announced that the state’s third-grade reading scores have increased by two percentage points, now reaching 57%. Mark Wilson, President and CEO of the organization, highlighted this improvement in a recent statement.

Wilson mentioned that “Our Florida Business Alliance for Early Learning Project will soon release a report analyzing the new data and sharing how educators and the business community can further align to bring all of our 3rd graders up to speed.”
