Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed the 2025 Memorial Day Proclamation, which honors the nation’s fallen service members. In accordance with this proclamation, both the U.S. and Florida flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon on Memorial Day.

This year marks the 157th Anniversary of Memorial Day. It is also an occasion to honor Gold Star Families by displaying the Honor and Remember Flag, symbolizing the respect and gratitude extended by the state.

Memorial Day will be observed on Monday, May 26.
