FloridaCommerce has extended the application deadline for the Recovery Housing Program (RHP) to March 5, 2025. This program is supported by funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is managed by FloridaCommerce.

The RHP is designed to assist public and private nonprofit organizations, as well as local government entities in Florida. The focus is on aiding veterans recovering from substance use disorders, although organizations serving non-veterans are also eligible. The funding can be used for various purposes such as relocation payments, rental assistance, new construction, and acquiring or rehabilitating housing facilities.

Further details about the Recovery Housing Program and guidance on the application process can be found at FloridaJobs.org/RHP.
