Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed the annual Korean War Remembrance Day Proclamation in Tallahassee, marking the start of the Korean War in 1950. This commemoration acknowledges the contributions and sacrifices of veterans who served during the conflict.

According to the proclamation, more than 45,000 Korean War veterans currently reside in Florida. This day serves as a reminder of their service and dedication to the country.
