Delegates at the 2025 Florida Farm Bureau Annual Meeting have voted to re-elect Jeb Smith of St. Johns County as president for a third two-year term. Smith has served on the state board since 2012 and is the organization’s 12th president.
“It is an honor to continue serving as the Florida Farm Bureau president,” Smith said. “I look forward to working alongside our grassroots members and our state staff to fulfill our organization’s mission of increasing the net income of farmers and ranchers and improving the quality of rural life.”
Smith is a lifelong resident and business owner in St. Johns County, where he and his family raise cattle and produce hay and sod. His family has farmed in St. Johns County for over a century.
Smith began his involvement with Farm Bureau as a local volunteer leader. He has received several recognitions, including the Florida Farm Bureau Outstanding Young Farmer and Rancher Achievement Award and Discussion Meet Award. He has also participated in advisory committees for the American Farm Bureau.
He attended Ambassador Baptist College in Shelby, North Carolina, and is the founding pastor of God’s Way Baptist Church in Hastings.
