Realtor Tula Tucker described on Apr. 1 how she builds her business through strong relationships, ongoing communication, and community engagement. Tucker said she prefers working with small groups and values staying connected to clients, many of whom live out of state. She keeps in touch using handwritten notes, market updates, and monthly locally sourced gifts.
Tucker said that seeing clients happy at closing is what motivates her most, especially when helping first-time buyers. In an area known for vacation homes, she has recently worked with several single-family home sales that reminded her of the importance of personal care throughout the process. She answers questions early and often, studies market trends to provide sound advice, and connects clients with local professionals.
“Even a second home is a big dream,” Tucker said. “People deserve someone who will walk them through the process and know who to call when a question pops up.” She added that building trust comes from consistent support rather than being the center of attention: “My competition is myself,” she said. “I want to be relevant, prepared, and useful.”
Tucker’s commitment extends beyond real estate transactions into broader service roles such as Impact 100 membership—a group funding projects across family needs, health care, and the arts—and active participation in local associations focused on policy and member engagement.
