The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Catch a Florida Memory program has announced the launch of Season 3 of the Triple Threat Throwdown. This event, aimed at saltwater anglers in Florida, will run from March 1 to September 7, 2025. It offers members of the Triple Threat Club an opportunity to win a fishing package tailored for various types of anglers.

A random drawing will select one angler to receive a Kayak Fishing Bundle valued at over $4,500. The bundle includes a Bonafide SKF117 kayak, Mustad fishing gear, Yak Attack accessories, a Power-Pole Micro Spike Driver, and more.

Catch a Florida Memory’s Season 3 Premier Partners—Bonafide, Yak Attack, Mustad, and Power-Pole—are sponsoring this prize package.

“With the outstanding success of our previous seasons, we are thrilled to bring back the Triple Threat Throwdown for Season 3, featuring an even more extensive and varied prize pack thanks to the generous support of our dedicated program partners,” said Jessica McCawley, director of FWC’s Division of Marine Fisheries Management. “We encourage anglers to experience Florida’s premier fisheries and build lasting memories in the Fishing Capital of the World.”

To participate in the draw for this prize package, anglers must become members of the Triple Threat Club by gaining recognition in all three Catch a Florida Memory programs: Saltwater Grand Slam, Saltwater Reel Big Fish, and Saltwater Life List (minimum qualification: 10 Fish Club). These programs allow anglers to demonstrate their fishing skills while increasing their chances of winning prizes.

Current club members gain entries for each new recognition during the challenge period. New members earn one entry upon achieving Triple Threat status and additional entries for further recognitions during this time.

For more details on how to join these programs or submit catches for recognition purposes visit CatchaFloridaMemory.com or contact via email at AnglerRecognition@MyFWC.com. Updates can also be followed on Facebook and Fishbrain.

Participants are reminded to follow ethical fishing practices and adhere to regulations ensuring sustainable fisheries in Florida. More information is available at MyFWC.com/SFR.
