The annual closing of the spiny lobster recreational and commercial seasons is scheduled to begin on April 1. This applies to both state and federal waters. The seasons are set to reopen on August 6. The two-day recreational sport season will occur on the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July, which are the 30th and 31st of this year.
