The Florida Chamber of Commerce has announced its third round of legislative endorsements for the 2024 elections. These candidates were selected after a comprehensive vetting process conducted by the Florida Chamber Political Institute, which involved interviews with over 100 candidates across five cities over six weeks. More than 80 business organizations participated in this process.
"Florida created 1 in every 11 new jobs nationally over the last year and 1 in 6 new jobs nationally in the month of July alone," said Mark Wilson, President and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. "This job growth is not accidental – we must continue electing pro-jobs candidates to make sure the right things keep happening in Florida as we grow from the 16th to the 10th largest global economy by 2030, and we are confident these candidates will help us keep that momentum."
The endorsed candidates are:

- District 35: Barbara Sharief
House of Representatives:
- District 18: Kim Kendall
- District 26: Nan Cobb
- District 33: Monique Miller
- District 48: Jon Albert
- District 72: Bill Conerly
- District 81: Yvette Benarroch
- District 93: Anne Gerwig
- District 94: Meg Weinberger
The Florida Chamber had previously released two rounds of legislative endorsements, including incumbent and former legislators as well as first-time candidates. Additional endorsements may be forthcoming.
With all 120 Florida House seats and 20 Florida Senate seats on the ballot in 2024, the Florida Chamber continues to spearhead efforts to recruit and elect favorable candidates through various initiatives such as the Florida Free Enterprise Fund, Florida Chamber Political Institute, and the Florida Institute for Political Leadership.
