The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Representative Laurel Lee for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Florida's 15th Congressional District. This endorsement highlights Rep. Lee's support for small businesses during her tenure in Congress.
Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director, stated, "Rep. Laurel Lee has been a strong advocate for small businesses during her time in Congress." He noted that she has achieved a 100% NFIB voting record by backing legislation aimed at reducing red tape and lowering costs for Main Street businesses. Herrle added, "Rep. Lee clearly understands the issues that matter most to our members, and we look forward to continuing to work with her."
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also expressed support for Rep. Lee: "NFIB is proud to endorse Rep. Laurel Lee for re-election today." She highlighted Rep. Lee's role as a cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act and expressed confidence in her continued support for pro-small business policies.
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee of NFIB. The committee is funded through voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are guided by a grassroots evaluation process driven by its members.
