Today, Governor Ron DeSantis revealed the appointment of Amy Blackburn as Hernando County Tax Collector. The new role will commence on November 1, 2024.
Blackburn currently holds the position of Hernando County Tax Collector-Elect. Her previous experience includes serving as the Chief Deputy of Finance Administration for the Hernando County Tax Collector. She obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Florida.
