Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd will be available to the media on November 5, 2024, to discuss Florida’s 2024 General Election. The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time at the Department of State’s R.A. Gray Building in Tallahassee. Media representatives are required to present their press credentials.
The location for this media availability is the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts on the first floor of the R.A. Gray Building.
On Election Day, both public and media can monitor voter turnout hourly at county and state levels from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., local time.
The Division of Elections is also providing daily statistics on early voting and vote-by-mail ballots, compiled from reports by each county's Supervisor of Elections. These statistics can be accessed through the Division's Vote-by-Mail Request & Early Voting Statistics webpage.
Additionally, counties will update their websites with information about received vote-by-mail ballots and those not yet counted starting at 7:00 p.m., local time, as long as counting continues.
The results for the General Election will remain unofficial until certified by the Elections Canvassing Commission on November 19, 2024.
