Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced a change in port rotation for two of its services, bringing Port Everglades back as a weekly call starting in November. The EMUSA service, which operates between the Mediterranean and the U.S., will now include Port Everglades on a fixed weekly schedule. The first call was made by MSC Dorine on November 5.
Port Everglades is also set to be the only Florida stop for MSC's U.S.A. to east coast of South America (SAEC) service, with MSC Cadiz beginning its calls on November 11. According to MSC's press release, this adjustment in the U.S.A. to SAEC rotation aims to "maintain schedule reliability."
The introduction of these weekly services means that consumers in South Florida and beyond can anticipate a range of imports and exports including ceramic tiles, spirits, lumber, and steel products.
