Tallahassee, Fla., November 20, 2024 – Florida Commissioner of Education Manny Diaz, Jr. has announced the books selected for November in the Commissioner’s Book of the Month program. This initiative aims to encourage literacy and reading engagement among students in preK-12 schools.
Each month, five books are highlighted by Commissioner Diaz, with one book recommended for each grade range. The selections for November include books from Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards reading list for grades K-12.
"November is a time to give thanks and reflect on the blessings we have been given as Americans," said Commissioner of Education Manny Diaz, Jr. "I encourage families to spend time together reading during this holiday season."
