Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of three individuals to the Barbers’ Board. The appointees are John Carroll, Kenny Collette, and Stephanie Lewandowski.
John Carroll serves as a Sergeant for the Florida State Guard. He is also a veteran of the United States Army and holds positions such as Chair of the Hernando County Housing Authority and member of the Military Police Regimental Association. Carroll completed his bachelor's degree in history and political science at Saint Leo University.
Kenny Collette works as a Barber and Educator at Burn the Breeze Barber Shop. His previous experience includes working at Chop Barbershop in similar roles. Collette obtained his barber certificate from Lively Technical College.
Stephanie Lewandowski is an Educator of Barbering and Cosmetology at Cape Coral Technical College. She was honored with the 2019 Teacher of the Year Award by the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce. Lewandowski received her barber certificate from Sunstate Academy.
These appointments await confirmation by the Florida Senate.
