Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission plans December meeting in Lakeland

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is scheduled to hold a meeting on December 11-12 at the RP Funding Center’s Sikes Hall in Lakeland, Florida. The sessions will commence at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day and are open to the public.

The FWC emphasizes its commitment to facilitating public input by providing several opportunities for comments before the meeting. Additionally, there will be designated times for public speakers during the meeting itself.

Public speaking at the event will follow a registration process with time limits set for each speaker. The Chairman has the authority to determine the duration allocated to each topic and speaker. To ensure that all business matters are addressed efficiently, there will be no more than two hours of public comment on items not listed on the agenda. These comments will be heard at the end of the second day, December 12, with registration closing at 10 a.m. on that day.
