Farm-City Week highlights urban-rural collaboration

Florida Farm Bureau Federation President Jeb S. Smith highlighted the significance of Farm-City Week as an opportunity for farm families to strengthen community ties and develop new relationships. Smith stated, "Farm-City Week is a great opportunity for our farm families to celebrate the partnerships they have with various members of their communities and foster new relationships."

He further emphasized the importance of Thanksgiving as a moment to express gratitude. "Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for our nation to express our gratefulness to God for His provision and to our farmers and ranchers for their sacrifice and hard work to provide a safe, affordable, and abundant food supply for all," Smith added.

The celebration underscores the essential connection between urban and rural communities in maintaining a robust food supply chain.
