Kara Wisely, a real estate professional, has been recognized as one of 20 Realtors in the inaugural class of Florida Realtors Board Certified Realtors. This new endorsement is for those who have achieved significant leadership, education, and skill-based milestones throughout their careers.
Wisely emphasizes a personal approach in her work, particularly with clients over 55 years old. "When you deal with the 55+ community, a lot of them aren't tech-savvy. Being there with them in person versus just on the phone means a lot," she explains. Her marketing strategies are tailored to this demographic, focusing on direct mailers and word-of-mouth referrals.
Education plays a vital role in Wisely's career. She notes, "I took every course available at our local Realtor association when I started because I didn’t know what I didn’t know." Active in Mount Dora's community life, Wisely engages in events like Halloween celebrations and Christmas tree lightings. "We open our office and give out candy to kids at Halloween and stay open late for Light Up Mount Dora during the holidays," she mentions.
Wisely also excels at connecting clients with reliable service providers such as electricians and roofers. "I always have a list of providers for people," she states, emphasizing the value of strong relationships.
