Sam Adolphsen has been appointed as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy in the Trump Administration. Adolphsen previously served as Policy Director at the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) and held leadership roles in former Maine Governor Paul LePage's administration.
The appointment was announced by President Donald J. Trump, who praised Adolphsen's capabilities in handling domestic policy challenges. Tarren Bragdon, President and CEO of FGA, commented on the decision, stating: "President Trump made another home run personnel decision naming Sam Adolphsen to his Domestic Policy Council. Sam is a unique policy talent, and he has the relentless mindset needed to take on the immense challenge of taming Washington to reinvigorate the American Dream."
Bragdon further expressed confidence in Adolphsen's ability to address significant issues: "I couldn’t be prouder of Sam and couldn’t be more excited for President Trump to unleash him on some of Washington’s biggest problems. I know he will get the job done."
He added, "If people are policy, then Sam is the perfect person to serve the American people and deliver on President Donald Trump’s America First Agenda."
The Foundation for Government Accountability describes itself as a non-profit think tank that advocates public policy solutions aimed at enabling every American to achieve their version of the American Dream.
