The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) has announced its 2025 Board of Directors Executive Committee. The new committee is composed of experienced leaders with over 210 years in the hospitality industry.
The FRLA, a leading trade association for nearly 80 years, aims to support Florida's $112 billion hospitality industry and its two million employees. The association is committed to advocacy, education, and promotion within the sector.
The 2025 Executive Committee includes:
- Chairman: Nick Sarra, Partner & CEO of Saltwater Restaurants, Inc.
- Vice Chairman: Greg Cook, Luxury General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton
- Secretary/Treasurer and Restaurant Director: Henry Delgado from Smith and Wollensky Restaurant Group
- Lodging Director: Chuck Prather from Birchwood Development
- Restaurant Director: Dennis Chan of Blue Bamboo
- Lodging Director: Joy Boyd from Davidson Hospitality
- Immediate Past Chair: John Horne of Oysters Rock Hospitality
Carol Dover, President & CEO of FRLA, stated that the committee will "play a pivotal role in driving the continued success" of the association. She emphasized the unified efforts across Florida to secure the industry's future.
Nick Sarra expressed enthusiasm about his term as Chairman. He highlighted goals such as addressing regulatory challenges and promoting careers in hospitality to youth.
The FRLA was founded in 1946 and merged with another association in 2006. It represents over 10,000 members including independent businesses and franchises. The organization offers legislative advocacy and training programs to support its members.
