The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is set to convene in person on February 26-27 at the FSU Student Union, Ballroom E, located at 75 N. Woodward Ave., Tallahassee, FL 32304. The meeting will commence at 8:30 a.m. ET each day and will be open to the public.
The FWC emphasizes its commitment to facilitating public input. Opportunities for public comments are available before the Commission meeting, with time also allocated for public speakers during the meeting itself.
Public speaking is structured through a speaker registration process with designated time limits. To maximize participation from attendees, the Chairman retains the discretion to determine the duration allotted to each topic and speaker. In order to address the Commission's business needs adequately, there will be no more than two hours of public comment on items not included in the agenda at this meeting. Comments on non-agenda items will be heard at the conclusion of the second day, February 27. Registration for speaking on these items closes at 10 a.m. on February 27.
