The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is scheduled to meet in person on May 21-22 at the College of Central Florida, The Ewers Century Center, Klein Conference Center, Building 40, located at 3001 SW College Road, Ocala, FL 34474. The meeting will start at 8:30 a.m. EDT each day and is open to the public.
The FWC emphasizes the importance of public input and offers several opportunities for comments before the Commission meeting. During the meeting, time is allocated for public speakers through a registration process with designated time limits. "To accommodate as much input as possible from those attending," the Chairman may adjust the time given to each topic and speaker.
To manage time effectively for Commission business, there will be no more than two hours of public comment on items not included in the agenda. These comments will be heard at the end of the second day, May 22. The deadline for registering to speak on non-agenda items is set for 10 a.m. on May 22.
