The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is collaborating with the Easton-Newberry Archery Center to conduct a Bowhunting Wildlife Workshop. The event will take place in Alachua County on Sunday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Easton-Newberry Archery Center, located at 24880 NW 16th Ave., Newberry, Florida.
This workshop is designed for individuals interested in bowhunting, regardless of their experience level. Certified instructors from both FWC and the archery center will address various topics including fitting bows and release aids, ethics, shot technique and placement, as well as tracking game.
