As businesses face economic uncertainty, the Florida Chamber Foundation has released its 2025 Florida Business & Economic Mid-Year Report. This report aims to guide decision-making with the latest data and economic analysis, focusing on Florida's economy at the midpoint of 2025. It provides a detailed look at demographic and economic trends affecting the business environment, including population shifts, economic growth, inflation dynamics, manufacturing sector strength, workforce challenges, and housing affordability.
Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly commented on the report: "The Florida Chamber Foundation’s 2025 Florida Business & Economic Mid-Year Report is a reflection of our Governor’s focus on manufacturing, the talent pipeline and infrastructure investments, and a strategic tool that illustrates how deliberate investments and collaboration amongst partners can deliver results." He emphasized the need for reliable insights for business leaders to make informed decisions.
The report includes an economic forecast for Florida to help business leaders navigate through 2025. It also updates predictions from the Florida Economic Outlook & Jobs Solution Summit held in January.
Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Foundation stated: “Understanding the trends driving Florida’s economy gives business leaders a competitive edge.” He highlighted that they are providing an "economic toolkit" to aid decision-makers in planning confidently.
The full report is available to Florida's leaders for further insights into these findings.
