Several Florida ports have been recognized by Logistics Management magazine’s annual Quest for Quality Awards, highlighting service excellence in the logistics and transportation sector. The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) received the highest “Ease of Doing Business” score among coastal ports in North America. Port Tampa Bay was also honored, earning recognition in the Gulf Ports category.
The Quest for Quality Award, now in its 42nd year, is based on an annual survey where buyers of logistics and transportation services rank companies on performance and customer satisfaction. It is regarded as a significant honor within the industry.
“When you consider the service pressures put on the shipper community to avoid service disruptions and meet the increasing demands of today’s market, walking away with Quest for Quality gold in 2025 is nothing short of a monumental achievement for those carriers, ports and service providers winning an award this year,” said Michael Levans, Group Editorial Director at Peerless Media’s Supply Chain Group.
JAXPORT has won this award five times over the past decade. Eric Green, CEO of JAXPORT, stated: “Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service every day, complementing the strong schedule reliability and connectivity our customers expect from Jacksonville. With modern facilities, efficient operations, and continuous investment in our capabilities, we’re proud to offer a seamless gateway to Florida and the Southeast U.S.”
Port Tampa Bay received its third Quest for Quality Award this year. Paul Anderson, President & CEO of Port Tampa Bay, commented: “Port Tampa Bay is honored to be recognized for the third time, with the ‘Quest for Quality’ Award. We deeply appreciate the support of industry stakeholders who acknowledge our ongoing commitment to operational excellence and efficiency. It is rewarding to know that our tenants and partners continue to value the efforts we make to serve them at the highest level.”
