The Florida Chamber Foundation’s Future of Work Florida initiative has released a new list highlighting the top 30 high-demand careers in each region of the state. The list is based on projections from FloridaCommerce and focuses on jobs with strong growth and replacement needs, offering wages at or above the state median of $22.53 per hour, or $46,860 annually. These careers cover a range of industries, including healthcare, information technology, education, business and professional services, architecture and construction, transportation and logistics, and hospitality.
The report not only identifies these top careers by region but also provides information on projected income and the necessary training pathways for each job. For 15 of the top careers, a bachelor’s degree is required, while 13 others need postsecondary training or certification.

The list is available at both the state and regional levels and serves as a key resource for the Future of Work Florida initiative. It seeks to boost awareness, preparedness, and collaboration among students, parents, educators, and businesses to support a strong workforce in Florida.
