A bill signed into law last month by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will permit advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants to order medically necessary home healthcare services. The new law is expected to lower costs and improve outcomes for the state’s most disadvantaged residents.

Florida’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday will run for two weeks, beginning today and continuing until August 11. This is another opportunity in addition to the Freedom Summer Sales Tax Holiday to shop small and support Florida’s Main Street.
