Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Cecil “Trey” Hightower as Jefferson County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. The appointment will take effect on November 1, 2024.
Hightower is currently the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller-Elect for Jefferson County. He has previously worked as an Administrative Specialist in the City of Tallahassee Treasurer-Clerk’s Treasury Management Office. His professional experience includes account balancing, account reconciliation, budgeting, and fraud monitoring.
