The Florida Chamber of Commerce is set to hold its Annual Insurance Summit from December 3-5, 2024, at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. This event will gather industry leaders, lawmakers, regulators, and insurance professionals to discuss the challenges and future of Florida's $9 trillion insurance market. The Summit arrives nearly two years after significant homeowners' insurance reform legislation and in the wake of three recent hurricanes.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing issues affecting families, businesses, and the economy.
Florida Insurance Commissioner Michael Yaworsky highlighted the significance of cooperation among stakeholders: "The Florida Chamber Annual Insurance Summit brings together all the stakeholders to discuss strategies and practical solutions that address Florida’s unique insurance risks and opportunities."
Key sessions at the summit include discussions led by notable figures such as Jimmy Patronis, Chief Financial Officer for the State of Florida; Tim Cerio from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation; Chris Spencer from the Florida State Board of Administration; Michael Carlson from the Personal Insurance Federation of Florida; and Kevin Guthrie from the Division of Emergency Management.
