The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) has expressed support for President Trump's recent actions to reverse policies established by the previous administration. The organization praised the decision to overturn what it describes as "discriminatory 'equity' policies" implemented under President Biden.
According to FGA, President Biden's executive orders led to over 300 diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects across federal agencies. These initiatives, according to FGA, have been allocating grants and contracts based on racial equity goals rather than merit. The organization claims that approximately $9.4 billion is being spent annually on these programs without substantial evidence of their effectiveness.
Tarren Bragdon, President and CEO of FGA, stated: “Americans are tired of seeing nearly $10 billion of their hard-earned tax dollars get flushed down the drain on ineffective and discriminatory DEI programs.” He further expressed gratitude towards President Trump for his leadership in restoring equality from the outset of his presidency.
Bragdon added: “President Trump has been at the forefront of the fight for equal treatment under the law, and the message from the American people is clear. They’ve had enough of radical agendas that pit us against each other based on race.”
The Foundation for Government Accountability describes itself as a non-profit think tank focused on promoting public policy solutions aimed at enabling every American to achieve the American Dream.
