The James Madison Institute (JMI) has announced the appointment of Brian Hickey as its new Vice President of Advancement. Hickey brings over 23 years of experience in events, marketing, nonprofits, and fundraising to his new role. Prior to joining JMI, he served as the Director of Partner Relations at the Florida Bankers Association, where he contributed significantly to non-dues revenue.
Dr. Robert McClure, President and CEO of JMI, expressed enthusiasm about Hickey's addition to the team: “Brian is a fantastic addition to our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to really invigorate JMI’s presence around the state and nationally. He has a lot of great ideas and I look forward to seeing him in action as the Vice President of Advancement.”
Hickey is a native of Tallahassee and currently resides in Florida with his family. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Services Administration from Florida State University.
