Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) has announced the re-election of Julie Morris as President for the 2025-2026 term. Morris, who serves as Vice President of Operations for Aston Health, will continue to lead the FHCA Board of Directors. Her focus remains on supporting long-term care disciplines and developing leaders within the profession.
"I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our members, our mission and the countless individuals who depend on the care we deliver across the state," said Morris. "I look forward to building upon the new programs, training, mentoring and leadership development opportunities that we launched last year."
Morris brings over 30 years of experience in long-term care and has been actively involved with FHCA throughout her career. She has held various positions within FHCA, including Senior Vice President and Treasurer.
The newly elected Executive Committee members joining Morris include Joshua Wagoner as Senior Vice President, Patricia Spears as Treasurer, Isis Fernandez as Secretary, Neil Sutton as Independent Owner Vice President, Mike Ward as Not-for-Profit Vice President, Mel Beal as Member at Large, and Anita Faulmann as Immediate Past President.
Additional officers are Vernon Zeger as Multifacility Vice President, Lonnie Steckler as Assisted Living Facility Vice President, Bradlee Cox as Associate Member Vice President, Monica Calonge as Region I Vice President, Brittney Traill as Region II Vice President, Daniel Frenden as Region III Vice President, and Bob Asztalos as Region IV Vice President.
FHCA CEO Emmett Reed expressed his enthusiasm about the board's composition: "The vast experience and collective insights of these volunteer leaders will be invaluable for the association's innovation."
FHCA represents over 700 Florida long-term care facilities and more than 1,000 professional members.
