Tyler Shadrick of Shadrick Farms in Madison County has been named the 2025 Florida Farm Bureau Achievement in Agriculture award winner. The announcement took place during the Florida Farm Bureau’s 84th State Annual Meeting, held on October 27 at the Daytona Hilton Oceanfront Beach Resort.
Shadrick is a first-generation blueberry grower who established a 25-acre organic blueberry farm. He focused on sustainability and profitability by introducing advanced frost protection systems, meeting organic certification standards, and developing food safety plans. Shadrick also volunteers to promote agriculture at local, state, and national levels. He mentors young people through 4-H and FFA programs and participates on conservation boards.
Looking ahead, Shadrick intends to expand his business into agritourism to educate the public about food production and agricultural stewardship.
“I’m so honored and thankful for the investment that Farm Bureau has made in my life and business to make this possible,” said Shadrick.
